The Boringest Thing I've Ever Posted

Two days ago I woke up at around 11:23 am and I lay in bed for around 15 minutes making it 11:38 am when I actually got out of bed. I then checked my cellular phone but I had no text messages, so I put it back on my desk after I turned the ringer on.

Then I walked out to the kitchen where my mother and sister were, but since it was Friday my father was at work and my brother was at school.
I had a really eventful breakfast consisting of peanut butter on toast and Earl Grey tea and then when I was done, I took my plate back to the kitchen and washed it because I`m a good child.

I read Eclipse for around 3 hours, making it 3 pm when I put it down on my nightstand. I got to around page 283. I got up and then made my lunch in the empty house because my mother had taken my sister to pick up my brother from school. I made a sandwich with left over chicken from the night before and some lettuce and tomatoes that I cut. The bread that I used was whole grain but it tasted a lot like white bread so I became suspicious. I checked the ingredients on the bread bag and, believe it or not, there was white flour in it. I was going to call the bread company but decided against it.

Then I continued to read Eclipse, and almost finished it. I got to the Epilogue and then put it down. By then it was 8:29 pm. I put it down to save the Epilogue for the next day. Then I went to bed after having a shower and using Herbal Essences to wash my hair. I also used Colgate Mint Expression Toothpaste. When I got into bed I marveled at the fact that I was there just 9.5 hours ago.

You know, some people`s blogs are actually like this.
Tada! The boringest thing I`ve ever posted.

Segregation, Impossibilities

I wonder if you could actually fuck your life.

I mean, fmylife has become a worldwide phenomenon (which really means it's a worldwide phenomenon in my life since I check it obsessively) and no one really thinks about what it implies and if it could be done.

Fuck your own life? That's like... eating your own head or drinking all your blood or removing your brain with your own hands and looking at it. Gory but simply impossible.

Life is not something that you can have sex with.

It's incorporeal. It's not matter or anything that you could have a child with (I wonder what that child would look like: half human, half life). Even if you used protection it's still not possible.

Speaking of the impossible, it's impossible not to see a marginal hipster and atleast 98 scenesters when walking on Granville. Most of these scenesters will be fat and dressed like classics: Converse, Vans, or something. Tight shirts that bare all. Gross hair.
And the hipsters are something else completely; I'll just say one thing: paisleysilkshirtsandbrownleather.

Since this post has been slightly negative, what with all the impossibilities, I'll end with something that can be done: Caucasian segregation. Oh yeah.

The Miracle of Life

Watching TV (television) again and a testimonial type advertisement came on. I laughed and everbody looked at me oddly. But nothing could compare to what came next.

The ad was for Sensodyne Toothpaste which apparently took away toothache pains. A woman dressed in a nice pantsuit came on and said this:

"My teeth were just in incomparable pain. I couldn't eat solid food, and the pain was constant. It was worse than labour."

Did you hear that? Worse than labour. Worse than labour. Okay. Apparently this woman's toothache was more painful that shoving a baby out her vag. Makes sense. Yeah. I mean, obviously when she had her child (who ran into the scene after she had given her testimonial, btdubs) he just magically appeared in her arms after nine months.

Speaking of childbirth, I hate it in movies when they have to reenact it. Like, we all know to an extent what happens during especially if you had to watch a movie in school called a lame name along the terms of "The Miracle of Childbirth" or "The Birth of a Child" or "Life, in Seven Disgusting Hours Compacted Into 25 Minutes". So why?
The actresses that have to do the extremely uncomfortable scene (or sometimes actors, you know, film these days) will have these greatly unflattering clips in the world forever more and can you imagine filming it? I mean, obviously it isn't real (or is it?), but the stage directions. And the awkwardness.

"Hey... so spread your legs... yeah, just put them up in these strap things... okay, now he-- yeah, him in the doctor's outfit-- he's going to...
you know. And you're going to have to scream and also... can you make the blood rush to your face? I want it red... how 'bout you hand upside down for a bit... okay, now here's the fake sweat..."

God, personally I'd drop out. Especially if I'd already had a child. Hell no, I already had the live,
real version of this. How 'bout you do it?

Is the Pope Catholic?

The world was shocked when Barack Obama, the president of the United States of America, asked if the pope was Catholic.

In an interview with renowned reporter Bill Doharry from Vanity Fair, it seemed to be going well. Obama, the 44th president, was relaxed and the mood was light. The interview took place in the White House, in the president's study. It was aired on television on March 5th.

When asked if he would be working to help solve the country's current economic crisis, Obama responded with a laugh, "Is the pope Catholic?"
Doharry chuckled and continued the interview somewhat warily. Those in the room (two of Obama's guards, Michelle Obama, and his new puppy) seemed shocked at his bluntly naive answer but said nothing.

After the interview, which was live, the phones in the White House started ringing like mad, said an unnamed source. All of them were shocked that Obama had the nerve to insinuate that the pope might not be Catholic. Most of the calls were hateful, although an organization that refused to name itself supported the president's suspicion and wished him well.

However, Pope Benedict XVI, the 265th Pope and Bishop of Rome, who lives in Rome, could not have been angrier. In a public statement about the accusation, the Pope said:

"I am absolutely outraged that the president of the United States, whom I had respected until this Friday past, could even think that I might not be Catholic. Of course I am Catholic. I'm the motherfucking Pope!"

In an attempt to quell the onlooking crowds, Benedict assured them that he would be "having a little talk" with Barack Obama.

How was Obama coping with the rising tide of haters and shocked Catholics all over the world? In a response statement to the current pope:
"By using the common saying Is the pope Catholic? I, in no way at all, meant to suggest that the pope is not Catholic. Of course I believe that the pope is Catholic; he wouldn't be the pope if he wasn't." He paused and said, with air quotes, "Does a bear shit in the woods?. Chill the fuck out, I got this."

Bears all over the world are outraged.

Testimonials

"I've never tasted anything like it in my life!"

"My back is completely cured! Thanks, SleepCountry!"

"Your life will change with this duster."
"If you haven't tried VacuuSuck, then you haven't lived your life."

"This chocolate bar will end all your problems!"

When I turn on the television to watch iCarly, advertisements pop up. I'm not going to go into my whole rant about advertisements because I've already done that, but I really dislike testimonials and feel the need to speak out about these things that pepper the good television on Teletoon and YTV.
You know it's a testimonial. The screen goes black for about 5 seconds, then tinny and generic elevator music comes on. The camera rotates around the room, showing the real fake flowers, the patterned overstuffed pleather armchairs, and the plastic covers over the couches. Then it focuses in on an older adult, usually a woman unless it's a tool or lumber ad.

This woman is dressed in a pantsuit usually, unless she is giving a testimonial on clothing. The pantsuit is either denim or something polyester like? Maybe fake linen or maybe even spandex. It's usually a dark and earthy colour like brown or purple or green. She then smiles at the camera. The overly bright lamps in the room are all winking in the camera. She then launches into a detailed explanation of how her life was before she bought this product.

"I was depressed. I couldn't get out of bed. When I did get out of bed, it was always raining and earthquakes happened everyday. When I got the courage to go outside, a hurricane popped out of nowhere. All the food I ate had no taste; I saw no colours even though I'm colour blind. I didn't know what to do with my life; it was a failure."

After this heartwrenching tale, she describes her life now, after buying the product.
"But then, once I bought FlexiGrip Cotton Socks, my life clicked back into place. The sun shined on my path, and everything I did was successful. I got a promotion, and found fifty million dollars on the ground. I was infertile before, but then I suddenly had a child. My colour blindness was cured."
After, a white screen pops up with lots of information on contact details. A male voice over (always male) repeats the contact phone number 19 times, each time getting more intense until the last time when he is yelling it and this phone number rings through your home. Then it flashes back to the woman sitting primly on the plastic covered chair, smiling widely, pulling the socks on. Then:

"Buy FlexiGrip Cotton Socks. Your life will shine brightly."

Next time you see a testimonial, look for the tell tale signs and write a letter to the company.
And then back to regularly scheduled iCarly.

Be Mean to Everyone

-->I found a word in the dictionary and I'm waiting for just the right moment to say it. So I think that there should be a specific time set in the day where people just say random words. About 30 seconds, around lunch time. Just spew forth the knowledge and the interesting words that they know. Ready? "Tintinnabular".
Isn't that fantastic? It means "pertaining to the sound of bells, or ringing".
I think everyone would be better off. It wouldn't solve world poverty or hunger or global warming or anything though.
That's another thing: people refer to major crises like math equations that have simple answers when in fact they don't.

Solve and show all work:
x= hunger, y= poverty, z= global warming, n= overpopulation, m= wars and conflict
And then the bullying thing.
Solve without using a calculator:
p= pink, d= bully, x= victim, r= reason for bullying
I brought up bullying because this week is National Bullying Week or something. I know, that sounds really cool; it sounds like a week where all the bullies in the school are allowed to publicly bully anyone and not get in trouble. But that's really not it because I think that the parents of the victims would be slightly outraged and our school would probably be sued.
No, it's a bullying awareness week where we are reminded that bullying can take any form, and can hurt everybody,
etc. etc.

Even though I technically am still in bullying week, just for right now I'm going to say that I live in Australia and that it is Friday, 2:35 pm. And since I try to miss school as frequently as possible on Fridays, it really is the weekend for me right now because I live in Australia, so bullying week is over for me. So that means I can be mean to anyone I want without the Pikester reminding me about the genuinity of spirit.

Speaking of odd time differences, if it's your birthday in your current country on any given day, you can travel to a place in the world where you are still technically your previous age, or, a place where you have been your new age for a while.

Enjoy this post, Valerie. It may be the last one. (Jaws theme). For a while.

Fiftay

This blog post is my 50th blog post. That means that I have written 49 blog posts previous to this one, and once I press the "Publish Post" button, I will have posted 50 blog posts.

I think there should be such things as professional kazoo-recorder bands.
Because the kazoo is the most annoying kind of sound maker imaginable, and everybody who lives in North America knows how to play the recorder, so it would be pretty convenient.

I also think that there should be different kinds of instrument Hero. Like Saxophone Hero or French Horn Hero. Ocarina Hero would be pretty cool too, and Dijireedoo Hero, and Clarinet Hero. Flute Hero. I would play them and they should also make Bass Guitar Hero for me, but they already have that so I'm good.

I don't want to write anymore because oh, the movie is so good. And oh, the peanut butter cookies we made smell so good so I'm going to communicate my 5oth with the beauty of pictures
.

Loud People

It always amazes me when my class gets out of hand, yelling and throwing things across the room, and someone cuts through all the noise with one well placed, powerful "SHH!"Everyone hears it which is ironic-ish? because the actual sound of "shh" means be quiet, and making the sound usually does the exact opposite in a classroom situation. After the chouchou "shh's" everyone, (tongue twister?), it's quiet for about half a second and then it's broken by loud cries of "WOW TEACHERS PET" or "THAT WAS A LOUD SHH!"So it's probably better to not even make the sound shh, even if you're doing it quiet, because it just annoys people and has no effect.

Another thing that I always notice is that when tests are passed back to students, there is always atleast three students who feel the need to quietly yet wanting-you-to-hear say "YESSSSSSSSSSS". It sounds more like a hiss, really, and it's extremely annoying.
Especially if you received your test with a large red C- circled in thick marker multiple times on it. Then you just want to slap those people repeatedly across the face with some organic material like a salmon or an apple.

So like I've told you before the Sims 3 comes out tomorrow. On the 20th. You have no idea how angry I am that my computer doesn't work. I wake up early in the morning at like 6:30 (a.m., not p.m.) and get ready really fast and then run to the bus station. I arrive at school around 7:30 which is just enough time to write a blog post and check my Facebook in the school computer lab. I wonder if Mr. Lu would let me put the Sims on a computer in the lab. I'll ask him.

I'm going to go watch a movie (sorry, I mean film).

2.15.2009

Let's Go To The East Side

I sometimes open Microsoft Word on my computer and type bad things.
I do this because a while ago, I used to go on Facebook when I was supposed to be doing my homework and I got in big trouble. So my dad said he might put one of those home keylogger programs on the computer to see if I had been on Facebook while I was supposed to be doing my homework or to get all my passwords to check if I had been making drug deals or to see if I had been looking at porn (he didn't actually say this but I think this was his hidden motive which is stupid because I'm not a 16 year old boy).

So I type bad things so that I might finally get him to admit that he actually did put a keylogger on it and then I can get super angry at him, or if he never mentions it, I know he didn't.
I type them into Microsoft Word, or send fake Facebook messages to random people. For example, here's one I sent to Sydney and Stephanie.

"hey dudes whats up

friday night 11 pm outside syd's house?
steph you bring the weed"

Here's another one I wrote in Facebook chat.

"Hi dad. I'm babysitting right now but in a few minutes I'm going out to the alley behind our apartment to meet my drug dealer boyfriend to do some coke and heroin. How am I buying it? I steal money from mom's purse and occassionaly, if I can't find any, I steal women's purses. Tonight I'm going to the East side to work my favorite corner near Pigeon Park and then I'm attending a homeless person party in a dilapidated warehouse where I'll pick my illegitimate child up and make some deals."

My favorite, however, was this.

"Hey yo whats up. i need to pick up those fishnets and condoms from your house... can't have another abortion stealing from clients is getting harder. anyways ill see you tomorro night around 9 . you buying?"

It's my favorite because turns out I actually went downtown the next night at 8:30 and my dad looked worried when I left. Maybe it was just my imagination.

I made sure that I didn't write this article on my home computer, because that would ruin it. I hope he doesn't look at this article. Hi dad!

Non-Allergenic?

I think that "non-allergenic" products are completely stupid. I know people that are allergic to everything: almonds, perfume (ahem, Valerie), cheese, lemons, computers, apples, boots, peanuts, sunshine, hemlock trees, education, tomatoes, tortilla chips, green eyes. Non-allergenic products are so dumb.

"This granola bar is non-allergenic."
What does that mean? The granola bar making company just took out one of the twelve kinds of sugar they used and those who were allergic to glucosugarmetholiyneglucofluorineglucoaspartamecyanide are fine 'cause this granola bar is non allergenic!

"This peanut is non allergenic!"
Yeah. Those who are allergic to peanuts don't have to worry because, even though it's a peanut, it's not really. It's not a real peanut. It's made of fake peanut fakeness. So it's non allergenic.

"Made with non allergenic ingredients."
Seriously what does this mean? People can be allergic to anything so labeling something as non allergenic means nothing.
I can't explain my thought process to you because you can't understand the sophisticatedness of my mind. I do good. I do gud.

Do you get it? Anyway, today Valerie saw the magazine Nylon. I don't blame her for wanting to rip it in half; I would too.

2.12.2009

Computer

Well, it really sucks. Because my computer hardrive is broken, or the computer crashed, or something like that, and when I log it on it stays at this black screen that says this:

"You downloaded too much porn so now you are getting punished for your sins."

It doesn't actually say that because if it did I would smash the computer with the hammer I made in Tech-Ed because that's just gross.

What it actually says is this:

"The Microsoft Word icon hasn't been touched in months, and yet Runescape has been typed into the address bar more than 20,000 times. Repent."

It doesn't actually say that beacuse I don't play Runescape barely ever. Only, like, once or twice a month. I'm pretty l33t and not a n00b. What does that mean?

What it actually says is this:

"Downloading 'cute kitten backgrounds' and 'cute puppy icons' instead of clicking the big button on the Hunger Site. That's why I won't work for you."

I only have a few cute kitten backgrounds so thats obviously not why it won't work for me.

Just finished our planning PSA for MARIJUANA!
Bad.

2.10.2009

University

So I think those who are in high school in the 2000s are better off. Because if I ask any adult that I know, most of them will say that they didn't go to university. And they still hold pretty tight (yeah tight, as in cool, not loose) jobs that these days, would normally require a university degree. I mean, this means more work for us because if we go to apply for an accounting job, and don't have a degree (or a diploma, ish) it would be super difficult. And if by chance we did get the job, I don't know wtf we would do. We wouldn't know how to... account. If we didn't go to university. That's what our teachers tell us. So we're better off.

Anyway my computer is dead. The hardrive is messed up or something. I don't really mind 'cause I can do it at school, but what will happen when Sims 3 comes out on February 20th and our computer is broken. What will happen.
Snow happens.

2.07.2009

T9 is a Him

I hate t9 because I referred to it as a him and now I can't stop referring to things as males.
I've never named my inanimate objects before in my life except for my guitar four years ago -- I named it Zach but it's not named that anymore so none of my things have names until yesterday.

T9 is Mr. T and not Mrs. or Miss T. My computer is now Clint (not as in Eastwood and not as in Clinteeta which is a girl name). My phones name is Phyll and that's not a typo. 'Kinda like Phyllosphorm. Ian is my iPod. Grant is my Gameboy. Joey is my Gameboy colour.
These names came to me today while I was lying bed and now I can't shake them off and I'm not just kiddin' ya like I usually do. I can't stop calling them by their names in my head and since my parents aren't home (yes, kids, I just broke the unbreakable law of the telephone/internet: never tell people you are home alone) I haven't yet had the chance to interact with humans in RL so not out loud yet.

Notice how all these names are male names. I don't know what this says about me but it certainly reassures Phyll and I think, for sexist reasons, I might have to add an '-is' to the end of his name. Clinteeta and Ianessa. Grantesse and Joeya.
I'm gonna' go watch WWE.

2.05.2009

Sigh

In math class funny things happen. We record bathroom times and pass notes while Ms. Kemble is looking. I always do this because I really want her to take it away and read it to the class 'cause the stuff we say is pretty funny.
Today I looked at Taylor's eyelashes which are unnaturally long. They touch her eyebrows (or almost) if she looks up. I'm jealous.
I asked her if I could rip them out and keep them in a little box. And then I smelled Valerie, who has the nicest perfume, and asked her if I could bottle her scent.
Weirdzies.

I'm not in a very generous and write-y mood righ' (right) now because I haven't eaten in 4 days
'cause I'm doing a fast. So thanks. For making my life interesting because it's not interesting without you because you make it interesting and without you it would be really uninteresting hence I'm thanking you for making it interesting. Thanks. For making it interesting.

Salut.

Stupid Warming

It started slushing while I was walking to Rogers to rent The O.C. and I had no hood so it really sucked.
On the way there, I saw a small, dirty patch of snow under a large tree. It hasn't snowed in Vancouver for like, a month and a half, and yet this little patch of snow feels the need to be disgusting and stay. So I stopped in my tracks when I saw this, and started talking to it. There was no one around and I was bored and it was like 11 at night so it was okay.

"Why are you still here? You're just ruining it for everyone. Just go back to the earth and partake in the water cycle like the rest of your friends did. You know, you're just a stubborn piece of freezing material that is disrupting the natural cycle of the earth and if you don't melt RIGHT NOW everything will be destroyed and the world will be thrown into death. Loser."

Anyway, Stephanie and I did this a long time ago, two years maybe.
Anything can lead back to global warming. Kay? Let's try.

A desk. The desk is made of wood and metal. The metal came from mines that used big heavy equipment that used oil and bad fumes to get the metal and then it gave some nice CO2 to the atmosphere. The wood was logged and trucks give bad stuff so global warming. Bad.

A lemon. A lemon is yellow. Asians are yellow. Asians live in China. In China, they have a hugely ridiculous and relative number of factories. Which expel fumes. Which in turn eats the atmosphere. Global warming.

A boulder. A beautiful piece of rock made by Mother Nature; what could possibly go wrong? Humans have a need to destroy things. The boulder is in the way of a new highway. It needs to be destrokked. Bombs and TNT and dynamite and dynamo (same thing? I don't know) are used to destrokk it and fumage happens. Fumage happens.

Fumage HAPPENS.

Ear Implantations and Plastic Surgery

I was looking at my ears today, just something I do occasionally. And then I looked at a box that was on my desk which was full of very heavy textbooks that really hurt if you dropped them on your foot, but anyway, on the box was some Mandarin characters.
Now, if you have spoken to me for at least four minutes on the internet or in RL (real life), I will have surely told you that I took Mandarin classes because it's a great bragging point for me even though I can only remember two words. Anyway, I couldn't read it.

So I thought that maybe people (and by people I mean someone that is not me because it's too hard) should make ear implants and eye implants that make you able to hear and read any language immediately. Either that or just make glasses and ear add-ons (similar to hearing aids) so that people don't have to go through the dangers of surgery. I won't list them on here because it's boring but late at night I went on Wikipedia and looked at all the side affects of general surgery and now they're running through my head so ask one day.

I want to get plastic surgery on my ears and wrists. Not actually, but people get the weirdest things done. I wonder if there's a way where you could extend your neck like a giraffe.

P.S.: Angela, refrain from complimenting Sydney on her blog's originality etc. because it's going to her head.

UBC Doesn't Let Asian Student In

In a shocking decision, the admissions office of the University of British Columbia, located in British Columbia, did not let an Asian high school graduate into the university.

Alex Yu-Zhang, a graduate of St. George's School, was sho
cked when, after applying to UBC with correct deadlines met, he recieved a rejection letter. Alex acheived almost straight A's (above a 86% average) in grades 10, 11, and 12. He also completed 6 Advanced Placement courses over the course of three years in high school. He took part in many extracurricular activities in the school, such as the yearly Math fair, the soccer team, and the basketball team. He was also an editor of the school newsletter and took part in many school plays. A very, very original student if we've ever seen one.

The UBC school of Engineering has varying prerequisites for their undergraduate degrees. Alex Yu-Zhang was applyin
g to get an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering (a program that has 98.3 % of Asian students in the school, funnily enough), and had met all the course requirements and credits needed. His parents were shocked, as were his friends who were saddened that Alex wouldn't be joining them while they drained kegs and didn't study. His school's university counselor, Jason McDouwatt, was the most surprised.

"I've never heard of this kind of phenomenon happen. I know Alex personally; him and I had a close relationship when it came to his future planning," McDouwatt said. "I made it my personal interest to make sure this pleasant young man got into the university of his choice."

But the most shocking part of this already confusing story is WHY the university didn't let Alex in.
UBC is often referred to as the "University of a Billion Chinese". A r
acist and belittling nickname, yes, but not something that the university admissions office would pay attention to. Apparently not. Alex's rejection letter was the generic UBC admission rejection, but with an added post script at the end.

The issue is currently being looked into by St. George's School counselors, and several other private high schools in the Vancouver area with a signifigant Asian population. Should the issue continue, the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada will get involved, which actually means they will glance at the file and shred it.

Teachers and Shock

I was thinking. Kind of a dangerous pastime, yes, but I was.
Either you hate a teacher.... or you hate a teacher. There's no other option unless they're good looking which is rarely the case, or they teach a subject that you don't need to learn in. Like Art or Woodshop or Info-Tech.
You can say you like them, and you might sometimes, but they give you homework or assign a test date or give you a bad mark on a quiz and you just wanna ********************. That, or something less violent and possibly more harmful like maybe planting child pornography in their desk drawer?

So I come home from school today after having a disagreement with my father and my room. Is completely. Empty. Well, not completely, but almost: there's a desk and a bed. And not my regular bunk bed. Nope, just a nice plain one that is on the ground.
Kind of shocking because I left the house with all my possessions in it, and during the course of four hours everything is gone. Hm.
Kind of a pleasant change, though, 'cause now it's clean. I wonder where my stuff is?

Thanks for making my life interesting
-Rebecca

Exams

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

Come on... it's Friday! You need to relax, 'cause you have a logn weekend ahead of you, filled with studying! No studying today.

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

Okay, I'll study in, like, half an hour.
Alright, it's been half and hour, but if I study now then I'll be distracted by iCarly so I'll just do it in 20 minutes.
Okay, 25 minutes have passed and my Math binder is waiting... but I need to have a shower before 7 so my hair can dry so maybe in 15 minutes.
Oh, but now it's dinner and I can't miss that crucial family time so let's do that first, then I'll study.
Great! Time to study! What's that, Cameron? You need a bedtime story? Oh, okay, then... No, no, no, pick a longer story, hon...

Kay. No distractions, it's time to hit the books-- oh, well... it's 10 p.m. and I need a good nights rest this weekend so I can be prepared for exams, so I guess I'll go to sleep.

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

Kay, today I really have to concentrate. Come on, Rebecca. Exams are really important. Let's go study. It's 12 p.m.
I'm out of bed, let's have some breakfast. We're studying at exactly 12:30.
12:30... alright... oh, wait! I need to do some chores or else my parents will get mad... kay, half and hour.
My Socials textbook is beckoning but before I study
I should relax a bit... It's ineffective to study when I'm all tensed up, I'll read Calvin and Hobbes for a few minutes.
OKAY, REBECCA. I SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING, SO CUT IT OUT. WE'RE STUDYING NOW... NOW... NOW. For at least 20 minutes.
Hey, let's play Brickbreaker...
Okay Rebecca. Now it's 8 p.m. It's 8 p.m., Rebecca. Your exams start tomorrow. It's 8 p.m. 3 hours until you go to sleep. Let's watch Lord Of The Rings!

So basically, this is how my weekend went. And now it's 8:00 at night, a day before my first exam. On a happier note... there is no happier note.
My situation is like a D minor chord. Ha-ha, band joke. You don't get it.

The Man

So I haven't been on the computer for a while which means like, 2 days. Do you know what can happen in 2 days on Myspace, Xanga, Twitter, Deviantart, Nexopia, and Stickam?
I don't because I don't use those sites anymore. Facebook rules all.

But I don't want it to rule all because I need to resist the man (Mark Zuckerberg). So I'm planning on finding some obscure social networking site like Jaiku or Badoo or Fruhstuckstreff and force my friends to use it and then hack their Facebook accounts and delete them.
Or I could use ConnectU. Just to make Mark mad. 'Cause you know the whole
Facebook-ConnectU thing. No, you don't, but I won't explain.

I went to book club a week ago and had forgotten to wash the red paint on my
wrist off. I had painted a red strip on my wrist because Sydney and I were pretending to be emo and my book club leader just kept looking at it. Every five seconds she would just stare at it and it seemed like she wanted to say something but she never did. Just sat there awkwardly and asked phrased questions about the book we read.
And then we got a Jodi Picoult book about a girl with leukemia and it's really sad.

I think next time I go to book club I'll paint tears on my face and write "FUCK UP" on my forehead and draw big thick x's on my hands. I wonder what she'd do then!
