Mimeness

Mimes make me angry.
When I see one, it makes me question human existence. It makes me question human progression and evolution. People who relinquish the use of their vocal chords for performance and art are extremely silly. Very, very silly. Do they know that they can use them? Do they know that acting like an idiot and not using one of the most important features of the human body is very weird?

They do the most brainless things, too. Pulling ropes. Climbing a ladder. Being buffeted by wind. If it's that windy, don't go outside. I'm sure you can enjoy yourself much more inside. Also, being trapped in a box. When do people get trapped in boxes? What kind of idiot thinks, Oh, i'm going to get inside this small, claustrophobic box. It's basically asking for someone to lock you in there (no offense if you've ever been trapped in a box, so sorry...).

I wonder how they make people who are mute feel. I don't see artists imitating deaf people on the street. Or blind people. Or... people who can't smell (how would you imitate that?). Why do people feel the need to make fun of mutes!?
If I was mute, I'd go up to a mime and start freaking out.
I'd have to use aggressive sign language, so it wouldn't be as effective. You can see where I'd have trouble.
